about me

Six years ago, I entered a discovery call with the woman who would become my first coach. I was utterly overwhelmed: I had too many challenges and “shortcomings” to work on; I simultaneously wanted to “get it done yesterday” and was reluctant to get started for fear of failing. And then my coach gave me permission I didn’t know I needed, repeating back to me one of our mutually favorite philosophies: we are not obligated to finish the work, nor are we free to desist from it. In other words, “it doesn’t have to be perfect, just get started”.

My coach allowed me the space and confidence to slow down, to fail, and to imagine outcomes I’d never even considered. That’s when I realized I wanted to do the same for others.

Hi, I’m Ari. I’m a coach, consultant, and partner in change. My goal is to provide you with that same relief, confidence, and pathway to growth. I will meet you where you are and together we can trudge through the meaningful middle into real, sustainable change and transformation.

I bring over 15 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion consulting and leadership; non-profit strategy and management; and organizational culture development. I hold a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelors in Sociology from Tufts University. I credit my coaching training to Coach Diversity Institute and WBECS Accelerated Coach Excellence.

I live in Maryland with my husband and two rambunctious, adorable sons. You can usually find me caffeinating while playing on the floor with my kids, squeezing in an Orangetheory class, or crushing the latest addition to my Goodreads list.
